First of all the staff was so friendly and helpful! We did have a couple of issues with our room. The body wash dispenser didn’t work the night we got there. (They did replace the following day) and neither of our phones worked. Not a huge deal, but we weren’t able to call parking from our room to get our car. Also, valet parking is $79 per night! It’s to be expected in downtown Chicago, but be ready to pay that on top of your room rate. I believe self parking was $60-$65. When we left on Sunday we waited over 15 minutes for an elevator. It would pass us going up each time then when it would come down it was full. We finally had to take our luggage down 6 flights of stairs and then wait an additional 5-10 to get down to parking. Guessing everyone was trying to leave at the same time, but be ready to leave early if on a weekend when there will be heavy check outs. I didn’t sleep well either night due to the city noise (loud music from cars, sirens etc) unsure if a room without a view would help that. The view was nice though! Again, I want to state the staff was incredible and definitely made the other inconveniences tolerable.
