Comfy City Dwelling
This was a wonderful VRBO spot! It was within walking distance of so many fun things! We were able to walk to Navy Pier, Mag Mile, Chicago River for an architecture tour, the Aquarium, an escape room, restaurants and the subway was just steps outside to go to see a Cubs game.We ate at several pizza places, Gordon Ramsey's, The Evie and had several shakes at JoJo's Shake Bar-all within walking distance. There is a Whole Foods market just a block away which made for a super easy grocery trip. The condo was extremely clean and had basic items-dishes, cups, silverware, and some pots. It had a Nespresso maker which we throughly enjoyed. They were very thoughtful and had earplugs and eyemasks upon arrival to cover the occasional sirens from the street. It truly didn't bother us. The pull outs beds fit perfectly in the main living space. One of the bathrooms opened to the hall so it could be used by everyone and not just the person in the bedroom. The bathrooms were stocked with soap, shampoo and lotion. The lobby was under construction but didn't interfere with access to the elevator. You have to have a key fob to get to the elevators which added a layer of security. They balcony had a wonderful view especially at night where cities become magical. There was also a pool table and patio area on the top floor which we utilized a couple of times. here is a Chikfila and Taco Bell just steps away from the front door. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this spot again.
