This place was great. Staff was very nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable and almost at home. We did have e an issue with the Roku not being set up but staff was great getting all the info we needed and getting it all set up. On our last night the host even moved her car for us to take her spot because the lot was full. Will definitely book again.

The most surprising thing about this hotel is that it came with a washer dryer which was fantastic as I’ve been travelling for about a month and it was really wonderful to have that service. Plus it’s a very quirky hotel in the best way love the Clock collection!

This is our second time staying at the Gem Suites in Evanston. Everything is very clean. The staff is proficient and the breakfast is enjoyable. We also appreciate the free parking. We enjoyed ourselves and we come again last time. We had a larger suite which we liked better at our last stay. I would recommend this to any traveler who is staying for a couple of days and would enjoy an entire suite filled with a kitchenette.

The property and rooms were super clean and comfortable. I was so surprised to see this hidden GEM in Chicago. It is close to Devon street where we love to go for food and shopping so GEM will definitely be our stop every time we are in Chicago area. Breakfast was so good not the usual buffet at other places but a made to order and hot and yummy. The service was outstanding. I would give it a 10/10 and totally recommend it.

Lovely stay with helpful staff excellent location. Breakfast is a wonderful full dining experience -no pre packaged chain hotel offerings. One can easily walk to shopping, dining, cafes and Lake Michigan. Rooms very clean with lots of storage /closet space. Mini kitchens are fully equipped with new appliances that all work! Only comment is that bed and pillows were very firm and made it uncomfortable to sleep-this is the reason for 4 stars and not 5.
