The room temperature has to be controlled from the front office . The room temperature was up and down whole stay. Even though we to call the front office couple times per day, the room temperature was up and down and not comfortable. The environment was cozy and calm.

The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. The hotel is consistently spotless, beautifully updated, and very well maintained, and the onsite restaurant is excellent. The only things I would love to see improved are the temperature control, since you have to call the front desk to adjust it, and the elevator, which could use a refresh to better match the rest of the property. That said, these are minor compared to the overall experience. The staff has always been extraordinarily kind and helpful, and it remains the only place we choose to stay when visiting Chicago.

Mostly my disappointment was that the room was not ready in time and I was even more disappointed with the attitude they had about getting the room ready. Poor. Too bad, nice place - but the service and timlieness against the price was poor. Also, hotel room ice machine was broken.
