“We’ve stayed here many times to the point where I’ve lost track. It rained for most of the time but we soaked at Chico and also had a wonderful meal at their dining room. We watched movies and read a lot. We also prepared our own meals using the fully stocked kitchen. A new addition was the the wifi, which I was grateful for as I was able to monitor my home and greenhouse remotely. Had it been nicer weather, we would have hiked up to Emigrant Creek Falls. We’ve also taken our bikes several times……

“Incredible! Stunning! Beautiful! Surrounded by mountains! Peaceful! It was the most perfect area to stay. Chico Hot Springs was only a few miles away. The bed was comfortable, kitchen was cute, and there were plenty of books to read. The dirt/gravel road was a beautiful walk in the morning to start each day. Sounds of water rushing through the creek running through the property was phenomenal! The only downfalls were not being able to really sit outside to eat due to the horse pasture and……

“Had a lovely stay at the Homestead Cabin. It's as described, quite 'rustic'. Only drawback was the proximity both to neighbors and to highway, which was a surprise to us only because we hadn't looked closely at the map. Fortunately, the beautiful creek mostly covers the highway sounds and bushes separate the yard from neighbors. Amazing access to Yellowstone, which was our primary aim, anyway. Hosts are friendly and helpful.”

“What a great place to unplug. Who needs the internet when you are spending the day in Yellowstone and your mornings and nights sitting by the creek listening to nature? It was an awesome 4 days.”

“Spacious house with everything you could ask for included. The house is stocked including shampoo, spices for cooking, laundry detergent and bear spray. The house is about 15 minutes from Gardiner. It sits in front of National Park property, which you can walk up to. The renting family is friendly and full of knowledge/history on the area which they are willing to share. The internet was out for most of our stay but Susan continued to address the issue which was on the internet provider end.……

“Bear Paw Flats cabin is cosy, quiet and surrounded by prairie fields. The bed is large and comfortable, kitchen well-equipped and the location was ideal for fishing the Yellowstone River and associated creeks. We would book again.”

“Prefect location, close enough to Yellowstone park entrance without being in the hustle and bustle of Gardiner. The river was really flowing and could be heard quietly while drifting to sleep, so peaceful! The owners were fantastic, greeted us upon arrival to go over a few things and show us around. Very clean house, had everything you may need. The back yard is great and wish we could have enjoyed it more but the weather had other plans! I highly recommend this house!”

“The cabin was everything we dreamed of wanting it to be while we were visiting Yellowstone! Having the Yellowstone River right in our backyard was priceless! We loved sitting out on the back porch watching the river flow, seeing rafters having fun, spotting wildlife across the way, watching a coyote run by and spotting an active nest in the bush right next to our cabin! We highly recommend staying here as the access to the beautiful and fun town of Gardiner and the park was in perfect proximity……

“We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The main room was comfortable for our family of four. I liked the remote location where it felt like we were homesteaders on a secluded ranch, but with the convenience of only being 10 minutes from Gardiner and Yellowstone.”
