“Amazing house, amazing location, loved watching the freighters go by, walking on the beach and sitting around the firepit after dinner. Recommend 100%”

“It was very clean and peaceful. Our kids enjoyed watching the ducks in the morning. Great location for exploring the eastern Upper Peninsula.”

“This property is very well situated for exploring the Upper Peninsula. It is clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Host is responsive.”

“The location was wonderful! The dog was able to be off-lead with her training collar and roam without fear of vehicles. It was calm and quiet and a relaxing time in the woods. We were fortunate to have very few mosquitoes and played sports outside and had windows open a lot. No wi-fi, which I didn’t notice before booking. Luckily we could use our hotspots but signal was 1/5 or 2/5 bars. We don’t usually watch tv on vacation but had wanted to watch football or maybe a DVD. No cable, and the DVDs……

“Everything was great! Would stay there again.”

“Fantastic spot for a secluded getaway.”

“What a great place to relax and enjoy the views! The fall colors were starting to emerge and it was just gorgeous out! The kitchen was very well outfitted with everything we needed to cook. Our dog loved running in the sandy beach. Thank you!”

“Beautiful home, owner great to deal with!”

“We have nothing but positive things to say. Great space. Comfortable. Beautiful. Loved it!”

“Absolutely loved the place. Watching the freighters go thru was great. There were even binoculars to look at them with! Right on the water. Beautiful fire pit. Nice deck to sit out and enjoy the beauty of the water and the sunsets. We didn't want to leave. Stayed an extra day. Have to take a two track but the isolation is the reward! Everything was so nice. If you're going to stay awhile storage of food will take some containers or something. Small place but for two it was cozy. The ferry to……

“Great spot right on the water. Easy to get to. Very clean and well stocked cabin.”

“Everything was perfect for our much anticipated vacation. The cabin was clean and larger than expected. There was everything we needed such as clean bedding, towels and wash clothes, cooking utensils and even shampoo and body wash. It was secluded in a nice peaceful spot in the woods yet close to so many great places to visit. We are already discussing booking our next vacation next summer.”

“Cabin was clean. Beds were comfortable. The view of the lake was spectacular. Would not recommend for older folks. Tight spaces in both the main bedroom and bathroom. Overall, a very nice place.”

“We absolutely loved the whole experience. The property was clean. The other campers were quiet. The lake was gorgeous. Throughout the process, I had an unusual number of questions and accommodation requests. The hosts were gracious about answering each and every question and ensuring we had the best experience possible.I will definitely return and highly recommend others check it out.”

“We had a great time! Great location!”

“The place was peaceful, and the beach was wonderful. The beach was sandy and shallow and was great for little kids. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, and paddling in the kayaks and row boat and watching the freighters go by. The upper level/loft was very comfortable and our kids enjoyed each having their own queen sized bed. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality pots and pans and the A/C worked well (especially helpful as we had heavy Canadian wildfire smoke for 2 days). Overall, the place……

“This is such a beautiful property. We loved being right on Lake Superior. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!”

“Loved the rustic location!”

“We came for a wedding and this place had everything we needed! Great little cabin nestled in the woods. When you are on the way there, If you think you have gone too far just keep going. Long driveway through the trees. Nice quiet stay, with the exception of the chirping crickets and frogs. Kids got to run around outside and found lots of cool feathers and frogs. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this “Up North” cabin. The decor was just what you’d expect plus a generous amount of throw blankets for the chilly nights we experienced. The cabin is appointed with local travel guides if you haven’t preplanned your excursions. The kitchen with a dishwasher was appointed with everything we needed. The sauna was fun and easy to figure out. The porch had 2 swing chairs which our children loved. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because of rain but it was there to use……
