“The room was beautifully clean and decorated well and had an en-suite bathroom and toilet. Very happy with the room and amenities. Unfortunately the owner had forgotten we were coming even though I had phoned her the night before. We arrived and spent 15 minutes in the dark and cold (3C) knocking on the door . No answer. No lights on. I tried ringing the mobile number 7x. Eventually it was picked up - she was at the gym! She told us how to get in, which was a relief as we were just about to go……

“Patricia was a great host. I contacted her before my visit and she was always prompt to reply. She gave me some great hints on the local public transport which definitely facilitated my stay. “Staff were really lovely and cared about me and my stay. I was able to check in early, which was a life saver! As id been travelling for a long time! Other resudents were reapectful with noise, and the sound from the bar below was easily resolved with some earplugs, so i managed some great early nights. I didnt have breakfast, but i was permitted to eat my takeaway either in my room or in the pub, they provided plates and cutlery. I will certainly book there again ”
