"An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!"

"This is a fantastic house. It has spacious accommodation, ideal for our family group of 12. The hosts had thought of everything with lots of little extras such as toys and books for the children and bread, milk etc which made the house a very welcoming place. The kitchen was well-equipped and the kitchen/dining area an ideal space for socialising with us all able to sit round the table together. We loved being able to easily access the beach via the burrows."

"The pool was cold and sauna wasnt working. These were two of the main reasons we booked the stay. I rang before booking to ensure a pet friendly property was available and no one mentioned this. The accomodation was very basic with a really hard bed in the master. The kettle leaked from the base, there was broken glass underneath my son’s bed and one of the seats of the sofa was collapsed. "Beautiful place in peaceful location. Nice view from our apartment overlooking the courtyard & mill pump, which we walked past on the way to the leisure centre & lake. Enjoyed a swim & sauna to top it off. Some areas could do with an update (& deep clean) but areas like the sauna had been updated (balconies on the todo list apparently, as we couldn't use). There's wasn't a restaurant or bar but a daily food van and Sun eve entertainment. But we were happy with our experience - Staff all very friendly and helpful. My mum loved her birthday getaway. Would return! "
