“Beautiful place to stay. Lovely pool in a quiet and serene location. The owner cooked us a special vegetable lunch as we were there during the Tet and local restaurants wete cmosed. She and her son also saved us from a horrible jam by organizing a taxi to HCM when GRAB canceled 15 minutes after we were due to be picked up. We also were invited to a cooking lesson. ”

“Hotel is remote. Unless you have a car or a nearby friend, it’s probably not for you. We had a friend locally. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

“This is one of the largest hotels in Sadec. It’s about the only true 3 stars hotel. Centrally located and walking distance to good local restaurants and attractions. Staff provides excellent customer service. Daily breakfast buffets with decent variety of local dishes along with cook to order eggs and hot noodle soup. Drawbacks: poorly designed bath tubs shower that splashed on to the floor ”

“I had booked a 3-day stay but left after the first day. The buildings are built on a pier and when somebody walks by all the buildings shake. And the stairs are unsafe going to the second level where the only bed is.”

“We had a fantastic night at the Coco Farmstay. The owners were welcoming and helpful, cooked us a delicious (and enormous!) meal, and we were able to hire bikes the next morning to explore the coconut plantations and waterways of the surrounding area. It's in a beautiful location - about a 10 minute taxi from Ben Tre, but well worth the few £'s it costs to get there. A really tranquil and peaceful spot, unlike anything else you'll find in the Delta. The only downside was the storm overnight……

“We enjoyed our stay in the country side. The property is simple and relaxing. We spend three nights here. There is one restaurant on site, and the owner was very kind. She would asked us what time we want breakfast. and if you have preference, let her know. they would do their best to accommodate. their english was limited but with the help of google translate, we manage to have friendly conversation. Once during our chat, I showed her a picture of a dish, and mentioned that was my favorite……

I had a good week here, they are a beautiful family and the mother treated me like I was one of her son's, I got to do and see most of the things I wanted too until I was hospitalised by a poisonous horse shoe crab from a restaurant. Luckily Min was able to drive me to the hospitals of which we had to go to a main one in the end, if it wasn't for him I'd probably would of been toast, so many many thanks to them, as I said……
