“We stayed at La Dolce Vita for 3 nights and it was a very comfortable place. The room was big, clean and comfortable with air conditioning and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. We had breakfast included and it was served not in the property but on the Belvedere where the view is something that words cannot describing it. La Dolce vita is located approximately 10 mins walk from the marina very easy to get to. Milena, the owner, was very helpful and provided us with all the information about Procida.……

The rooms were very spacious, full of light, and we couldn't hear anything from the road, property has thicks walls, a natural soundproofing. The rooms are superb and well furnished, with all comforts. The beds were really comfy, each room has the a/c. really funky bathrooms. “Kristian, the host, greeted me warmly as I was walking up the alley. He quickly grabbed my bag (which was very heavy) and proceeded to walk me to my room. He then led me upstairs to their rooftop patio and pulled out a paper tourist map and showed me all the sights and transportation options. “This is a really cute bed and breakfast hosted by a master veteran of the hotel concierge world, Mario. He made breakfast everyday himself and served us beautiful espresso. He is also super knowledgeable about Ischia and area (including ferry schedules which was incredibly relevant to us!). “We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. ”

“This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak……

“One of the worst experience we have in a hotel. Furniture is rather old, the shower stall is small and its base leaks water. We had floods after our showers. We noticed small insects on our first night and thought that was isolated incidents. The second day we found the "headquarter" of the ants under the table. It is not a decent hotel at all, it is a only a "so so" hostel. ”
