“We (Mum, Dad, 15 & 8 year old) from Cornwall stayed for 3 nights. We wanted somewhere near Cambridge as my eldest is there at Uni. The location was spot on, only 30 minutes drive to the centre of Cambridge and 3 miles from St Ives where there were plenty of places for fuel, shopping and eating. The accommodation was perfect for us. The only slight thing was the sofa bed was a little less comfortable for the eldest child. But everything was clean, tidy and well equipped for us on arrival. “Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! ”

“Was a big scare when we reached the apartment and found out this was no one there for check in & no instruction sent before our arrival. In this remote location, the mobile connection is bad and I luckily able connected to WiFi in an indian Resturant. Found an old email thread, replied to it and luckily i received a Uk phone number to call for self check in instruction. Felt quite worried at the beginning with my wife and boys and about where we sleep . Not a good experience ”

“The actual apartment was clean, comfortable and serviceable. It is in a block with more permanent residents who do not have the same standards of cleanliness. Post box junk mail emptied on the entrance floor. Nappy wipe dropped at the front door. Smell of old cooking and smoking coming from other apartments.”
