“Stayed for two nights. Very lovely setting, clean and well stoked with amenities. Bonus access to hotel facilities which we didn’t have time to use but lovely to walk around the front garden. Paid for the breakfast at the hotel which was worth it in my view! We had the medium room and my teenage daughter was very happy with her massive sofa bed in the living room! “My husband and I stayed for a week with another couple and their dog. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the balconies had amazing views over the lake. You could not be closer to ferry docks and restaurants. It was quiet and relaxing. The little market at top of street had wonderful produce and shopkeepers were very helpful in ensuring we had excellent ingredients for our dinners. “Excellent location in Varenna. Easy to walk around and very spacious for our group of 7 adults plus 1 infant. The home also had everything we needed for our baby. We loved the patio, spacious bathroom, and outdoor area. ”

“Be aware the parking for this location is public parking and may not be available. If you are walking, the center of town is approximately a 20 minute walk and you share the road with vehicles. There is a walking lane, but at times there are drivers who drive close to pedestrians as well as areas where the walking lane ends. There are 2 roads to drive in and out of the area, I'd recommend inquiring about the route that is wider. The apartment had everything we might require and we were provided……

“Instructions for check in were detailed and we had no problems. We were able to find a parking spot in the garage but be warned there are only a few and it's first come first serve. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The location is in Fiumelatte, a 20-ish minute walk to Varenna which we were happy to do every day.
