“Very small cabin, too expensive plus additional dog fee .”

“Great views from the patio of the beach. Cabin is small but functional. If you have anything larger than carryon size for bags, you’ll likely need to keep it in the airstream. Airstream is cute, but we didn’t use it much as we were out and about or on the patio mostly. Hosts were on top of communications.”

“This was the PERFECT little cottage for me. As a single traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable here. The property owners are right next door so are available if you need anything, and are so respectful of your privacy that you wouldn't know they were there. I stayed here because it was close to the Redwoods and to Moonstone Beach, an off-leash dog beach. The tide pools and running water are shallow enough to do a little swimming and play fetch as my Golden is sometimes a little intimidated……

“Good spot on the coast. Stayed the weekend for my son’s graduation. Good jump off point to the Humboldt area. Clean, comfy beds.”

“I wanted to love this place but was sadly disappointed. I appreciate the effort, some really cool furniture, the woods were beautiful. But the door didnt lock, i didn’t feel very secure sleeping there with kids. The composting toilet was not exactly what i was expecting…it WAS a composting toilet but essentially it was going into a garbage bag. The wood stove worked nicely but the wood burned very quick and went out as you sleep so unless you add it all night you wake up cold. The bed had a kids……

“This home is beautiful and worked perfectly for our couple days stopping to see the Redwoods. Our only thing we would recommend is a way to do laundry because there wasn’t much of an option for late night laundry and we had a ton with 5 people thousands of miles from home.”
