“The room has no air conditioning, and the temperature is quite uncomfortable. According to the front desk, they are not authorized to turn it on. How is one supposed to sleep when it is so hot in the room? This shows very poor judgment on the part of the hotel management.”

“An excellent boutique hotel perfectly located for walking to the many places to visit in Mdina and Rabat. Very close to the main bus stops and restaurants. The hotel is in a grand old building, fully and tastefully modernised inside. Our room was spacious and well appointed. And spotlessly clean. Breakfast was generous; we appreciated the range of fruits. Grace made us very welcome throughout our 3 day stay and was very helpful on practicalities like transport. “Friendly staff. Helpful with luggage as place has no elevator. Good working airco. For hot water, ensure to put the boiler switch on. Location is perfect with a huge public parking lot in front of hotel. It’s right by the Mdina gate. ”

“Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and……

“1. No lift for 2nd floor units, narrow stairs to carry heavy luggage. 2. Too narrow doors to move freely in and out of rooms 3. First two nights Airconditioning was controlled by the owner and it was put to off or not working, suffered in heat after heated email/text , they switched it ON. 4. Breakfast has very specific timings per room , need to visit only in that 30 min window for breakfast. 5. Near to Airport, and near by general shops and bustop. I will not recommend this place to anyone,……

“Just stayed for one night as our flight had a very late arrival. The hotel was beyond our expectations in every respect. A small but very well run establishment. Rooms well equipped, very clean and shower was excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.”

“What an excellent boutique hotel! We arrived very late and although the front desk staff departs at 9pm, we were able to enter without issue with the provided doorcode. Our room had everything we needed and the bed was amazing. The morning breakfast had plenty to offer and was perfect after a day of travel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.”

“If it says balcony, it may not be what’s in the pics. Felt super deceived. But unless it specifically says city view or pool view you have the back overlooking pipes with the smell of grease coming up and a generator. Complained. Was told complaint was prioritised. Never heard from them again. Despite there being other available cheaper rooms with views available online. Under the bed was dirty. There was a hair in the shower and the fridge. Ants in the foyer. Broken sundeck chair. Didn’t……
