"I had a fantastic time at the Hydrangea Inn! I rented the Bungalow and it was adorable and quiet. Breakfast on the two days of my stay was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again."

Motel 6 Eureka, CA – Redwood Coast
10/10 Excellent
"Nicer than we thought it would be. Will probably stay again. "
"Despite its being a motel in an unsafe area on Hwy 101, across from a marijuana shop such that you get out of the car and smell it- the grounds, room, bed, and customer service were excellent. The front staff was always eager to help. The pool area has a tropical oasis vibe and hotel staff were often keeping it clean and tidy. You could tell the management was excellent.
It is a quick one minute drive to the historic downtown( we felt unsafe as we walked it), with restaurants and shops. They even offer a free limo ride to and from downtown in the evenings"
"Pool was perfect for kids- 4’ max, warming fire pit area was spacious. Breakfast variety satisfied everyone- from waffles you can make yourself, milk orange juice, sandwiches cereal & fruit. Bed was too firm, perhaps offer mattress toppers as an additional comfort. Pull out sofabed accommodated 2 little kids well."
"Checking in the owner gives you a tour and provides the history of the property and the area around the property. She is an excellent host. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you like historic mansions this is an opportunity to stay the night on one. The owner is also looking to open a restaurant and I look forward to returning. "
"This is a really nice place to stay. It’s Newley remodeled and really clean. Our tv wasn’t working so the manager drove from her house just to get it working. "
