“The place was unoccupied except for us! Our room was fine but the premises seemed to be under renovation. No staff were available.”

“What a gem this place is! The home is charming, spotless, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and learning the story behind the home made our stay even more special. From the moment we arrived, it felt more like staying at a cozy bed and breakfast than a typical vacation rental. We were greeted with a personalized welcome letter and a thoughtfully prepared guidebook filled with recommendations for things to see, do, and eat in the area. The……

“My husband had a partial corneal transplant. We are not from the area so one of our daughters searched for a place for us, her, her husband and two sons to stay for a few days. We arrived the day before the scheduled procedure, travelled to the hospital the next day and his follow up with the surgeon the day after the surgery. We stayed an extra day for him to remain on his back. The living room has two sofas so he could lay down on one and our daughter’s family could watch movies, play games……

“Great location and nice home!”

“Beautiful home lots of space very clean. Any time I had a question the host got back to me very promptly. We enjoyed the golf cart, the fire pit, and a little bit of the pool. Sadly, we didn’t have enough time to go to the pool because our days were filled with lots of other activities. There are two friendly cats on the property. We saw a black bear. That was pretty cool. Definitely enjoyed our stay.”

“The unit was clean and everything for a nice, relaxing weekend was included, Will definitely come back!”

“checking in was confusing we didn’t realize it was a multi unit home.. we had to wait for instructions to get in and had no check out instruction. ultimately we had a decent night and good nights sleep. cheaper then a hotel to split with others”

“All very clean and experienced no troubles”

“Beautiful home, beautiful location, super peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend!”

“We had a nice, comfortable time at the chalet. We felt some amenities were lacking but our expectations were based on other VRBO properties we have rented. Cell service was spotty in the Hideout area.”

“I booked this for employees who were traveling, and it worked out perfect for them. Having the ability to cook their own meals and not have to eat out every night was something they really loved. They also liked the fire pit in the back yard as well as all of the other amenities. The rooms were very clean; the host is very helpful and attentive. Definitely will book again!”

“It was a perfect place with a great host who was the best communicator, always quick to answer a question or make suggestions. Everything was exactly as advertised. We especially loved the game room which was perfect for our teenaged grandchildren. We would definitely recommend without reservation.”

“This rental was as advertised, well appointed and attention to the details. The host was super responsive to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay at this resort community.”

“The house was beautiful, the view, perfect. The horrendous screeching noise the pipes made every time water was used, not so much. We could not sleep at night due to the extremely loud screeching noise that lasted for hours after each use of water. We alerted the owner, and were not offered any solution. I made several attempts to discuss the issue and was met with either “let me look into this and get back to you”, or no response at all. I was also told multiple times, “this is the first time……
