Everything was ideal inside the home: cleanliness, signature Aiken horse decor, very thoughtful accommodations, and the beds provided some of the best sleep we have ever had away from home. “Wonderful place to stay. We were there to fish on Clarks Hill and this worked perfectly for us. A little bit of a drive but was in town so my wife had plenty to do while we were on the water. “The house was the perfect setup for us, we ended up using all 4 bedrooms as more came to help cook for my daughters wedding, the owner had a little hiccup with some lighting that happened while doing upgrades to the home the week before but handled it like a champ, of all the places I’ve stayed and owners I’ve met these were class act people. "The front desk did not inform us about other amenities such as free breakfast or Wi-Fi until asked for. Upon arriving in our room, we were greeted by a roach. After complaining and switching rooms, there was no roach, but the fridge was stained with food stains and looked like it wasn’t cleaned for a while. The bedside USB charger was completely smashed and unusable. The bathroom/closet door doesn’t close all the way. "
