"Don't stay here. They don't have an elevator, or provide housekeeping to start with. We specifically requested housekeeping before leaving for the day, stating we'd need new towels. After being gone for over 8 hours we found that housekeeping never came. My husband had to go downstairs to ask them to clean the room up. We couldn't call downstairs because the phone isn't actually plugged in or usable. It's just a prop. The lack of an elevator is inconvenient at best and not ADA complaint I'm sure. Expedia would be wise to put that information in a more obvious spot as it's not mentioned on the booking page unless i scroll way down. The mold in the pool is probably a health hazard, I'd be interested in finding out if it's safe to be open to the public. But the 'Active Shooter' that didn’t exist and was used as an excuse not to serve breakfast was the highlight. When my husband went downstairs to get coffee he found that breakfast was canceled due to an active shooter. When I asked for clarification because now we felt unsafe at the hotel, the man on shift, Jay, told me it was just a man with a gun and he was told by police to avoid any gatherings. Which didn't make me feel any safer. I called the non-emergency police line to get more information on the situation. The woman on the line told me there is zero gun or police activity in the area of the hotel. She isn't sure why he would say that."

"Overall the stay was good. The one exception would be the bathtub that hasn't been cleaned in a while. My spouse used a white wash rag to wipe it down and the rag was a different color by the time she finished. Other than that it was pleasant"

"“This is a budget extended‑stay property, and my stay reflected that. The room had dated fixtures and a few maintenance issues, including lukewarm water, some mold on the bathroom ceiling, and no sink or tub plugs. There were no hangers, though an iron and board were provided. The walls are on the thinner side, so noise from neighboring rooms carries. Overall, it’s a simple place that works for a basic stay, but travelers should be aware of these limitations.” What really matters is the bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. --- If you want it even softer, more positive, or shorter, I can adjust it. Which direction do you want: softer, more positive, or shorter?"

"My stay at the Camas Hotel was outstanding. The historic charm, peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful touches made it feel truly special. The rooms were clean, cozy, and clearly cared for. Breakfast at Madeline’s was another highlight—flavorful and served with genuine warmth. What makes the experience even better is the location. You can step outside and enjoy charming boutiques, great local food, and beautiful nearby parks that make wandering the area a joy. A memorable, refreshing visit. I’m already looking forward to returning."
