Before booking this property I suggest that any renters search for ratings outside of VRBO for "Properties by Preston" to determine whether or not to do business with this company. My experience was very poor because of the lack of cleanliness of the unit. We reached out to the company for several issues described below. They were responsive but each time there was a different rep and we had to re-explain the issues.The building was dirty with trash on the floor. This not the fault of Properties by Preston, but it should be mentioned.The listing itself was accurate. The check-in process was easy and straightforward. The unit is sparsely decorated with minimal amenities. There were no dishwasher tabs or liquid nor paper towels.Upon entering I noticed that it had not been vacuumed and there were fingernails on the dining room table. I immediately texted, a response was received. I said that I would just clean it up. All of the lightbulbs in the kitchen light were burnt out. A maintenance person came out the next day and replaced them.I brought up a vacuum (we live 1 hour away) and vacuumed and swept the unit. In the end, I asked for the cleaning fee to be waived, not any of the rental fees. This was denied.I do not recommend renting from Properties by Preston. I have attached pictures so other potential renters can determine for themselves if the unit was satisfactorily cleaned for us. I also include a picture of the "vacuum" they may use to clean the carpet.
