“The Golden rock Inn is a very special place. Up in the cooler rainforest on the side of Nevis Peak, it is a paradise of greenery and tranquility. The grounds are spectacular, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and extremely gracious, it feels like a private hideaway on a hillside with an absolutely, amazing restaurant to boot! We came for several quiet days after a stay at the Four Seasons, and it was the perfect counterpoint to a beautiful stay on Nevis. Highly recommend! ”

Cons: No real "kitchen" area: mini-fridge under sitting area bench- very difficult to get to (we both pinched our figures a few times); all kitchen items located in bathroom area - must wash dishes in bathroom sink. No drawers for unpacking clothes, except for under the bed; again, difficult to get to Listing has a few inaccuracies: While it's a lovey walk……

“The property was great. We really enjoyed the monkeys and the Pavillion restaurant. The only problems were the tiny black ants in the kitchen and bedrooms. The bidet in the front bathroom did not work, there were only two towels per bathroom, and the front bathroom had no shower curtain or blinds on the bathroom shower for privacy, we couldn't find any kitchen towels.”

“Amazing space and garden. The host has thought of everything, like a slow cooker so that you can prepare your meals to be ready when you return from the beach. A can opener, and even a beach towel. You might even see Monkeys visit the garden. Communicating with the host revealed that we can even get food delivered… just bring some mosquito repellant if you want to sit outside in the evening”

“Unfortunately this property appears to be significantly under maintained and managed which made for an uncomfortable stay. Prior to arrival host was insistent on communicating through whatsapp which we did not have access to right away. Information about check in was not really provided until day of - after much insistence- which due to travel challenges - created extra stress and concern about the property. Upon arrival and meeting with property manager - it was stressed that due to a big storm……

“We spent 3 weeks at Nevis Palm. Loved the house and pool. Easy stroll down to the beach. The hosts were very attentive to all of our needs. Nevis has maintained its Carribean authenticity. It has great beaches, grocery stores, restaurants and most of all friendly people. We will back next year for sure.”

“The villa is precisely as pictured & described. Right on one of the best beaches on Nevis. Literally steps away. Clean, convenient, views from balcony area overlooking the beach were fantastic. Host Vanessa was an absolute superstar!! She assisted with transport both to & from the villa & communicated all clearly. There were a couple minor maintenance issues which she resolved immediately. Vanessa went above and beyond, in my opinion, to ensure all aspects of our stay went perfectly. My rental……

“Jonathan paid attention to every detail from transport from the airport to the water taxi, to transportation to the Villa. The portfolio of information he put together is the most complete and helpful we have ever received. Jonathan checked in with us before, during, and after our stay. For this, we are grateful. The views from the property are stunning and the location is close to some of the best restaurants on the Island. We enjoyed meeting Tessie and she cooked us some lovely meals. All in……
