"We enjoyed full size fridge, stove with full oven where we cooked a turkey. The convenience of having the dish washer was essential. We were very happy with the open concept, wood burning fireplace and plenty of room for a large family The kids enjoyed playing on the play structure as well as foozeball and the pacman machine was a hit. The added garage party/game room with ping pong and dart board were enjoyed by the adults and kids alike and they played a fes games of bingo. I believe the hot tub was the cherry on top for kids and adults alike and we were amazed to see the skiers coming down the hill from the living room window. All in all, an excellent family stay."

"What an unsuspecting place! Not really anything around it but we were so pleasantly surprised by how nice and quirky this motel was! It’s too bad we were there on days that the restaurant/cafe was closed bc we would have loved to try that! Would definitely recommend "

" Staff were very kind and helpful, and the room was clean and beautiful. There were a few minor issues, such as some chipped paint in the bathroom, and this time the bed was smaller than during my previous stay, which may be due to the fact that I indicated I would be staying alone instead of with a plus one. I would have preferred liquid body wash rather than the soap bar provided during both stays, especially since bar soap can be difficult to share when there are two guests. I also wish that at least one bottle of water were complimentary — my options were either tap water from the bathroom or purchasing a bottle. That said, if you bring your own toiletries and water (or be willing to purchase), you will likely have no complaints. It’s a lovely, clean, and spacious property with thoughtful touches like cute towels , bath robes, two shower heads, and diffusers, and I do intend to visit again. I love going to Nordik Spa, and the location is perfect — very close by and easy to walk to if you don’t drive. It’s also close to Ottawa and nearby stores, making it easy to walk or find affordable transportation."
