「Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. 「Very cute place for a single or couple. Very comfortable bed. Good off street parking. Super clean. Owner was readily available for questions. Wi-Fi particularly good.... all around highest rating.」

「This was our second time staying at Don and Perky’s cottage, and it certainly won’t be our last! We had another absolutely wonderful stay. The cottage is immaculately kept and well-equipped with everything you could need. Outside, the lake is beautiful, we especially enjoyed the stunning sunsets. Perky’s gardens are also very beautiful and add a lot to this charming property.A massive bonus for us, the property is pet-friendly. 「Everything about the stay was excellent. Everything needed was provided and response from the hosts almost immediate. The property is in a quirky, but safe part of town. My only hesitation is parking can be interesting as it's entirely on-street, but we always found a spot no further than a block or two away.」

「Terrific stay! Clean and comfortable! Responsive host. Terrific value!」

「Charming, comfortable cabin on a gorgeous property nearby many hiking trails」

「I booked this for my wife and I, our two sons (2 & 5 years old), her dad and my dad. It was a nice secluded and quiet spot, and it had everything that we needed for our trip. Whiteface mountain was about 15-20 minutes away and Lake Placid about 25-30. Lana was a great host. Communication was easy and she made sure to show us the house and let us know where everything was.」
