Nice getaway

The check in went smoothly. The wifi worked flawlessly (essential given the spottiness of cell service. The proximity to beaches and the quiet location were also appreciated. Very cute property.

We had a wonderful time at this house! Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the books were fascinating. It was great. Also so easy to get out to some great beaches

Fantastic!

The property is situated in a quiet neighborhood but it feels like you are in the woods! Very peaceful. The cabin has a great vibe inside too. The host was great to work with as well. :)

Tranquil getaway

Loved our stay at this lovely rustic, yet modern, A-frame home. Perfect size, cozy wood burning fire, excellent kitchen and bathroom. Just the right amount of everything, and a grill and games to play! Will stay again! Thank you! Celebrated a birthday weekend here...

The perfect qetaway

The cabin is adorable and and very private. You relax the minute you walk in. The wood burning stove helps create a peaceful atmosphere. We will definitely return. The owner of the property was amazing to work with. She is very responsive and a joy to work with!!!!

Lovely Cabin

Cute cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Check in process was very smooth and the place was very clean when we arrived. Well stocked kitchen that's missing a microwave but had everything else we needed. Bit of a drive to other parts of the island but we didn't mind. Overall a lovely stay.

Wonderful getaway for a honeymoon! Quiet and peaceful! Definitely would do a repeat. The lighting would be the only thing to add. The house was a bit dim.

Private neighborhood retreat!

Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!

Cute, eclectic a-frame cabin. Good uses of small spaces. Very cozy and quiet. Negatives were…garbage can full of prior guests trash. Went to grill and propane bottle empty.

Really cute cabin!

I didn’t expect it to be in a neighborhood from the pictures. It was, but sure enough you couldn’t see another house through all the trees! Private. Tiny. Nice renovations. Probably would be nice to have more comfortable furniture in the gathering area, but still very cute. Nice kitchen! Comfy bed. Big shower.

Cute but uncomfortable

We stayed here for one night (Christmas) as a getaway from the city. It was a cute enough little cabin but I was under the impression it was more remote. I could’ve thrown a leaf and hit the nearest neighbor’s house, and the other two houses weren’t much further away. If you want secluded, or a walk in the woods, this isn’t it. The cabin was relatively clean when we arrived but the heat had not been turned on, and it was frigid! There were space heaters in the living room, a small space heater in the upstairs bedroom, and a baseboard in the downstairs bedroom. It was a little tricky to figure them all out and get it right. The house did heat up quickly, though. Our main issue with the place was that the downstairs “bedroom” was probably a converted laundry room (super tiny) and the bunk beds should only be slept on by children. My 70 year-old parents joined us, and didn’t feel comfortable climbing the stairs to the loft so they took the bunkbeds. They were so miserable! Their hips hurt from the thin mattresses, and my mother ended up coming out to the living room to sleep on the slightly more comfortable loveseat. Neither got more than a few hours sleep. For such a “cozy” cabin, there wasn’t a single piece of furniture that you’d want to curl up in. Overall, it wasn’t the getaway we were hoping for, and had a pretty high price tag for what it offered.

The property was in a quiet location and was exactly what we needed for our stay in Whidbey! The bunk beds are a bit short and there’s no TV, but the vibes are legit! Would recommend!

The property is magical! It’s so beautiful and clean. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking We saw deer with their fawn right when we arrived. The kids loved playing outside in the trees. Coffee and yoga on the porch with nearby forest and beach walks made it a perfect place to stay. The ferry was easy to quickly get us back to Seattle.

We had a great time at the cabin. It’s a really fun and unique space. Our boys (ages 8 and 10) enjoyed the bunk room, games and books. We’ve stayed in a dozen different places on Whidbey and this is one of the most memorable.

Nice comfortable stay on Whidbey Island.

We had a nice comfortable stay in this little A frame for 4 nights. Lots of turns getting there but the great host made sure we found it. Communications with the host were great. One of our favorite places to visit was Langley and it was only 7 miles away. Since the island is only 37 miles long, pretty much every is close. So that future renters will know, sleeping arrangements are a big bed upstairs and a kind of twin bunk beds downstairs. I’m 77 with two new hips and I was able to climb the steep stairs. I really liked the shower in the downstairs bathroom. The shower upstairs is made for smaller persons. Fun island to visit with loads of history.

Whidbey Island Retreat

Beautiful home on the south end of whidbey island! We absolutely loved our stay and found it to be a great spot. A quick drive to beaches, parks, and restaurants.
