This updated, two bedrooms, two bath cabin offers a perfect retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Surrounded by towering pines, quaking aspens, and breathtaking mountains, Birds of a Feather provides an moment from the hustle and bustle of everyday life without sacrificing convenience to the Village of Cloudcroft.
    Whether you are relaxing on the choice of two decks, listening to the symphony of songbirds or exploring the nearby trails to catch a glimpse of regal views; Birds of a Feather provides the perfect location to immerse yourself in the beauty of the great outdoors and surrounding area. Birds known to the area are Steller Jays, Mountain Chickadee, Tanager, Hummingbirds, and Evening Grosbeak.
    Experience Cloudcroft like a local with close proximity, two miles from the Village, from Hwy #130 past Sunspot Hwy; with plenty of parking, maneuvering area. Small RV concrete pad with 220v electric hookup, level parking for motorcycles, small trailers, fenced yard for your fur babies.
    Primary Bedroom with Ensuite Bath is entire upstairs level featuring a private deck, stocked coffee/cocktail bar for your convenience, with a luxurious King bed. The Downstairs Bedroom features a cozy, Queen bed, and convenient bath near, guests will feel right at home. Offered is a quaint full Kitchen and BBQ grill for all your families' meal needs, lots of indoor and outdoor games, curl up and read a book, take a hike, the choices are endless. We had a very enjoyable stay and so did our fur baby. The cabin had everything you would need. Location was great. Close to the Village of Cloudcroft but far enough away from the crowds. It made for a very relaxing labor day weekend.

Very cozy place and great setup for traveling with a dog. Great proximity to town for anything you might need. Family of four loved it and there was room for a couple more if needed. We would for sure stay here again.

This was a great place to stay to explore southern New Mexico. The location and the cabin are very nice. We loved having the birds visit us on the balcony. The upstairs shower could be a little tight for a larger person, but we were fine. Other than that, this cabin is very nice, and we would highly recommend it. The host, Kelly, provided any needed communication in a timely manner.

We had a wonderful stay (our second stay here) and would absolutely come back! The downstairs walk-in tub is such a fantastic feature—comfortable, relaxing, and a real luxury after a day of exploring. Upstairs, the bedroom is incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the coffee bar, which made it so convenient to enjoy morning coffee without having to head downstairs.One of the best parts of our stay was waking up each morning to the peaceful view of the trees, breathing in the fresh air, and enjoying the quiet surroundings. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge.Kelly has done an exceptional job creating a warm, comfortable, and welcoming home. Every detail made us feel at ease, and it was clear how much care has gone into making this a special place for guests. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying again!

My son and I enjoyed the Birds of a Feather. It was very clean and comfy! Definitely pet friendly, but didn’t have my dog. We enjoyed watching the birds off the patio. Very cute place!

My family and I absolutely loved our weekend stay here. The home was clean, cozy, and welcoming. We really appreciated the fun board games, the snacks, and being able to bring our dog along. The area had a great vibe and was peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I took our 14 year old grandson for a week in the cool air of the mountains of New Mexico. We left Artesia NM where the temperature was 108 and arrived in Cloudcroft where the temperature was 78! We spent a pleasant week enjoying the scenic views, the small town charm, and the fishing in Silver Lake. My wife is a bird watcher and she had plenty of opportunity to sit on the porch and add new species to her list. The two story setup worked well for us. My wife and I stayed downstairs and our grandson had his own space upstairs. Our host, Kelly, was the greatest. Thank you again, Kelly

We very much enjoyed our stay here at Birds of a Feather, our pup especially! Unlimited porch space to gather the forest views, and plenty of room for our pup to wander. We will definitely be booking this again. Kelly was very quick to return messages and check in whenever possible.
