"Location was superb. Very basic accommodation- only two pillows on bed, absolute minimum should be two pillows per person. (We needed to use the cushions off the lounge as well as the bed) Little extras like “fresh”teabags, box of tissues and hand soap for bathroom basin would be nice, bed or couch throw for extra warmth. "

Helen and Claire made me welcome and went above and beyond, recommending walks and providing me with everyhing to make the most of a short stay. I would highly recommend this cottage and location. A short walk into town, but in the country, surrounded by birdsong and views, with great walks in your door step."

"This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars. "My family had a great time at the Glain Orme. It was my husband, three children (ages 6,8,10), my mother-in-law and her friend. Due to pet restrictions, my father-in-law had to stay at the Grand Hotel with the dog. Overall our stay was excellent, and the accommodations were great. Apart from thinking there was a dryer on the premise (it was printed in the house book but not on the website) and the cable TV not working, we had a blast.
