“For an older motel it was very clean and the staff were beyond phenomenal. I left my pouch there and right away they called me and told me. Definitely above and beyond. ”

“At first I was a little a worried about the area when I came in but when we stayed the first night it was so quiet. To see the staff tag team in cleaning the rooms was amazing. I don’t really see that in nice hotels we stayed in. The only thing I wish was the shower to be a little bigger but the location was prefect for Me. 5mins away from cedar point and 3 mins for the soccer tournament.”

“We spent two night to watch total solar eclipse here. Very clean and great managed property. Located in safe, quiet region with easy access to highways, and close to islands and great lakes. Some distant sounds of train can be heard at night. But it's not a concern to us at all. Management is definitely outstanding. We were not just provided necessary info, but also some great idea about events in the area. They even provided glassed for solar eclipse watching. I were told some facility updates……

“Nice staff at check in. Ac excellent. Bed spread needed replaced, several cigarette burns. Clean room. Bed was comfortable. ”

“If you are looking for a Resort. This isn't it. BUT if you want quiet and inexpensive but clean.. this place is great. Tall people will have to slouch in the shower and its not scalding hot...but water pressure is good. Little bit tight quarters in the cottages but its very clean and comfy. Would stay here again!”

“This is a quiet little off the beaten path place to stay. If you are high maintenance, this place is not for you. But if you appreciate the finer things in life, this inn is awesome. The service is great, owner is suoer sweet. Communication was great! Right across from Sandusky Bay, evening fire pit and tiki torch area. Really a cute place! I would absolutely stay here again! ”

“It was very easy to get to. The owners were very nice and friendly. They answered all my questions about where to get something to eat. They were also nice enough to let us know about the strawberry festival that was going on the same weekend that we were there. They told us about the restaurant that were only about 10 minutes away from the hotel. We had a great time and will probably be back next year. Thank you for having us.”

“I chose this place knowing the bad reviews and terrible conditions, expecting the worst, and it did not surprise me. It was dirty, and dilapidated. The tiles and wallpaper were falling off the walls. The owner was friendly, but the room was truly awful. He said that he didn't have my reservation, but could rent me a room he wasn't planning on renting out due to issues. Not sure whether to summate this as a good or a bad thing. Ultimately, my alternatives were 3-4x the price for a 3 star hotel,……
