I can only say great things about this property and the staff. Checked in rather late coming from cedar point. Lady at desk was excellent. Room very spacious and clean. Only downfall was the shower doesn't drain well. But water was hot, pressure good, beds clean, pillows a bit uncomfortable. Overall excellent stay though. Breakfast was good, the lady that was helping was beyond helpful and excellent and nice and fun to chat with. 2nd time staying here and id stay again.

This hotel was great for our group! We brought 16 teenagers and the setup of the rooms was super easy to keep track of them. We loved that the pool was open late. The hotel is very close to Cedar Point parks. The best part was the staff. The staff went above and beyond for us. They were so personable, helpful, and took great care of us. When we arrived Don had popcorn made and cookies and milk out. Rhonda had breakfast set up and was there to help with anything we needed in the morning. The housekeeping staff had fresh towels and were cleaning up rooms by mid morning. We would 100 % stay here again!!

I was pleasantly surprised by our stay. The room and beds were clean. The only issue we had was that our toilet filled very slowly so you could not flush often. The breakfast was great also the oil was clean. It was a great place to stay if you are headed to cedar point. Just a few minutes away and you really just need the hotel for a shower and a bed! However, they also have a good selection for breakfast and a snack time at 7. We missed it overall great value for the price.

There was nothing to like, my side of the bed had a hole in the mattress. So I sleeper around it. I would of asked for another room but there was none. And the breakfasts was a joke it was muffins and bread. Our bedroom was nothing but cobwebs and the floor was dirty. The staff was nice but they couldnt due anything due to no vacany. Would never go there again.

We stayed for 3 nights. The room was outdated but pretty clean. The bathroom was a little dirty around the edges of the floor but otherwise room was clean. The front desk staff and breakfast staff were awesome. They greeted you every morning for breakfast and kept the area well stocked and immaculate. It's only a 6 minute drive from cedar point!! We will return!

The staff was outstanding from check in to check out. The room and facilities are super clean. Breakfast is very generous and if not enough, they offer free cookies, popcorn and soda each evening at 7 Pm. I was not there a lot, but when I returned from my expeditions, it felt like coming home. They remembered my name. It was a personal touch that is rare anymore. I enjoyed my stay with Sandusky Super 8 very much.

We checked into room 204. As I was reading in bed, I saw a bed bug crawl toward me on the bed sheet. I killed it, put it into a tissue, and took it to the front desk. The motel staff were incredibly kind and responsive, and they moved us into another room. We checked the beds in the new room and saw no evidence of bed bugs, so we spent the night there. The mattresses were uncomfortable; old and with low spots on both sides of the bed. I had to sleep in the middle of the bed just to find a flat section of mattress. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff was great.
