Best view in Santa Teresa, 2 minutes from the beach beautiful artisan house

"This home was an ABSOLUTE slice of paradise!!!! There is a spectacular view and comfortable place to view it from a variety of places around the house and property: in the infinity pool (I don’t usually get in pools but i was in it a ton!), beside the pool, under the awning, from both bedrooms, from the loft area, the staircase, even while doing the dishes! Not to mention it was super cool to take a shower and have an opening to the lush landscape (including a mango tree and sometimes even howler monkeys!). Speaking of the wildlife, we went on multiple hikes and saw very cool animals, but we realized we actually saw the most from right at the house! I can’t even tell you how many beautiful butterflies and birds we saw (really fun to use a bird sound ID app). We also saw howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, iguanas, geckos, variegated squirrels, a crab (it had a long hike up the hill!), and fascinating insects. We even saw scarlet macaws fly into and out of a tree right next to us at the nearby Carmen Beach—what a thrill! We came during the rainy season, but it worked out great as it only rained some evenings and it gave us spectacular thunder and lightening shows that were incredible to watch from multiple spots in the house. We went on a ton of adventures and were glad we rented a 4x4 vehicle to comfortably access the property and surrounding area.Marianne was very helpful and greeted us with a basket of delicious fruit, chocolate, and coffee.I hope to return soon!"

"The room was very cozy and the small kitchen area was super convenient. The cleaning lady was attentive and did my laundry for me; wash, dry and fold. You can't exactly swim at the beach right in front of the property due to rocks but its a short walk to get past the rocks. I would recommend this place to friends and would happily stay there again. The A/C was also a huge bonus!"

"Located on a superb beach. Welcoming staff always happy to accommodate (I had an upgrade to the dome huge room with the amazing ocean view for a very little extra fee). Breakfast was generous and delicious. Natalia the owner always smiling and helping… I will definitely go back to Casa Cecilia"

Unique luxury Ocean view villa steps from the beach

"This house is perfect. First and foremost- the view. It's actually better than the pictures show on VRBO. When we walked in, everyone ooo'd and ahhh'd, and it could NOT have been a better view to wake up to each day. The view alone is worth the price of admission. But also, the entire upstairs opens to let in the sound of the waves and the ocean breezes. Secondly, our host, Judit, was amazing. Always checking in and serving as a concierge. She arranged for surfing lessons, which were the highlight for all. She also had ATVs waiting for us at the house and arranged for shuttles to the Cobano airport. The ATVs are absolutely necessary because the house sits atop a very steep (not really walkable) hill, and at the bottom of the hill, there's at least a half-kilometer of unpaved, bumpy road till you get to a paved road in Santa Teresa. It's so bumpy that vehicles move at a snail's pace while ATVs and motorcycles zip by. Also, I didn't realize that the house would be cleaned each day. That's important, as anyone who's been on a beach vacation knows, a house can get really sandy, really FAST. At the end of our trip, I asked the family where we should go on our next vacation, and they said they wanted to do the exact same thing."

"This is an exceptional property located just steps away from a slice of paradise. It is a beautiful modern home just steps away from the white sand beach. The perfect location to take in the stunning sunset. Richard takes hosting to a Concierge level. He went above and beyond to help us with requested arrangements. It is a rare find to discover someone who goes beyond expectations….all you need is Richard!! "
