“This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. ”

Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit Pool in ruhiger, ländlicher Umgebung am Waldrand mit einer hervorragend ausgestatteten Küche, geschmackvoller und gleichzeitig funktionaler Einrichtung. In der Nähe von Coimbra und ca. 1 Stunde Autofahrt vom Meer entfernt in zentraler Lage im Land, um Ausflüge in verschiedene Richtungen zu machen. Wir haben einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub mit sehr viel Ruhe und wunderschönen Sternenhimmel verbracht.”

“This place is kinda magical. Elvira is very helpful, sweet as can be, and made us feel welcome. The space is a wonderful combination of rustic & convenience. We appreciated the wifi as we got rained-out of our morning hike. Would love to go back!”

“We stayed 8 days at Isabelle's house and everything was perfect. The rooms are big enough and we slept very well in the cosy beds. Communication with Isabelle was also perfect and the check in was easy, as Isabelle's parents in law are living right next to the property. Thank you for everything ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay.”

“House was beautiful, great location, communication with the company/owner was perfect. The only thing they may improve is the check-in hours: too restrictive only till 7, although they offered their help for late check-in. I'd get back to this house without hesitation.”

“We added Gondramaz to our itinerary at the last minute and this stay ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. João was very helpful, accommodating and quick to reply. The place was spotless, charming and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The house was tastefully renovated and furnished while keeping the original look of the schist house. It is deceptively large for its location, and its spot in the village allows for most windows and the backyard to overlook the beautiful……
