「It is a unique property, I have never seen a hotel like that. Each house is different and it is part of the restored village. Every morning we were getting a freshly baked bread and a cake delivered to our little house. The property itself is very beautiful. The host Priscilla is very welcoming warm and hospitable. 10 stars all the way!!!」

「Great property with plenty of room and lovely big garden, lots of different types of fruit trees which was a nice surprise.The swimming pool was great and although not heated we didn’t notice as it’s in full sun most of the day.The property is really well linked to the main motorways so getting to the coast was really easy and also Coimbra which is well worth visiting.There is a handy supermarket very close by. Isabelle was a great host and we had no issues, highly recommend.」

「We added Gondramaz to our itinerary at the last minute and this stay ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. João was very helpful, accommodating and quick to reply. 「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay.」

"We greatly enjoyed our stay with CBR Boutique Hotel. The location is very central, right next to the river and main street with plenty of shops and restaurants. The themed rooms are stylish and clean. The breakfast is simple but good and definitely enough to fill you up. What impressed me the most was the staff's hospitality and helpfulness, as they looked out for me and helped me recover my valuables. I am deeply grateful to them for saving my trip! Will definitely stay with them if I visit Coimbra again."
