Highly recommended

My friends and I had a 2 night stay there. We were greeted warmly from the moment we stepped through the door. We were a little late ordering lunch but the kitchen was kept open for us. Cannot fault it, accommodation excellent, food excellent. Exceptional breakfast. Staff friendly and attentive.

The Angel Inn is a lovely property in a small, quaint village. The hotel has remodeled an old stable to provide modern accommodation, while keeping its aesthetic charm. The rooms have all the creature comforts, although their pillows are flat as pancakes and should be replaced. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very nice, and the pub serves great food and drinks. I would definitely stay there again if visiting that part of the country.

Very good room but bathroom badly designed and so unnecessarily cramped. Old coaching inn, so on road, but also o at crossraod - lots of early morning traffic with commuters taking short cut and therefore very very noisy. Very good food and staff delightful
