“We were lucky enough to book this place last minute and so glad we did - it was amazing. Friendly hosts who provided a wonderful welcome basket of milk, juice, yoghurt, biscuits, crisps granola and bread which was a really thoughtful touch. The place is huge and comfortable and we lit an open fire which was lovely. The accommodation is isolated from the main farm and is therefore wonderfully quiet and peaceful. “Did work well for the numbers we had. Nine of us fitted into the cottage. I think the eclectic surroundings were a bit surprising, but on reflection not negative… just… surprising. “It was a good 1 night rest stop for our drive from Queenstown to Christchurch. The cottage is charming and clean. The beds are comfortable and we had a very good night’s sleep. Love the peace and quiet of the area. It was a rainy day otherwise we would have stayed outside to enjoy the night sky.”
