"My room was so big! Very clean, huge bathroom, claw foot tub. Highly recommend this place. It had a great vibe. Was not industrial like a hotel, had a very clean and comforting feeling, like you were visiting a relative. I stayed here for my brother’s wedding at MoCA. Great experience all around. "I stayed at Maple Terrace for five nights and brought my golden retriever with me. I worked remotely from the room most days, and it was an ideal setup—quiet, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The property itself is beautiful, with a stunning view of the neighboring horse farm that feels straight out of a postcard. My room was spotless, cozy, and well-appointed: comfortable beds, easy-to-reach power outlets at both the desk and bedside, and small conveniences that show real attention to detail (shower cap, makeup remover, hair dryer, etc.). The welcome chocolates for humans and treats for dogs were such a sweet touch. The owner is wonderful—warm, attentive, and always available to make sure guests have what they need. My dog absolutely loved it. While she desperately wanted to chase horses and explore the (equally gorgeous) cemetery—no, sweet girl, not allowed—we found an amazing 1/2-mile trail along the Green River that leads straight to Water Street with easy access to campus and Spring Street. It was perfect for morning walks. This will be my go-to place whenever I visit Williamstown. "
