Large condo with excellent AC. Bathrooms poorly maintained. Could use a deep clean. Washing machine wasnt working. Can hear outside noise from traffic. Great view of the beach past road and railway.

Place was not clean, airconditioning unit started leaking and made floor wet. We requested an iron and took 5 hours to get it. At first they told us breakfast was included but then charged us after we ate.

Staff were very friendly. The room was large and serviced daily. My only complaint would be the swimming pool, it was under the 1st floor of rooms and open to the outside , this encouraged blackbirds to fly in and settle on the pipes above the swimming pool. Not very healthy. Some netting around the open areas would have stopped this.

113m2のスタンダード アパートメントを予約したのに、ベッドルームとバスルーム以外は他の宿泊客と共用でした。設備も全体的にくたびれているのに修繕されておらず、とてもじゃないけど4つ星ホテルのクオリティではありません。オーシャンビューは素晴らしいですが、同価格帯のコロンボ中心部のホテルの方が満足度は高いと思います。

Not suitable for foreigners. Only Sri Lankan food at overpriced breakfast. Pool water cool as partly under a roof. My room was on the first floor next to the railway with horns blown throughout the night. Dress code bars shorts and slip on shoes in the restaurant/bar. This in the tropics!

Location is best........but the hotel is the worst

Booked for 2 nights and stayed only 6 hours. such a horrible hotel. small rooms, old worn furnitures, non-functional airconditioner. I repeatedly requested for change of room 3 times, no one bothered and therefore, at mid-night of the first day I had to abandon my room and moved to another classy hotel near by.

電車の駅からも近く部屋から海も見えて立地としては良かったと思う。朝食もスリランカスタイルだけではなく欧州タイプの料理もあって安心して食べることができた。部屋の前の踊り場のようなところの電気がつかなかったため、夜部屋に戻るときに鍵穴が見にくかった。

Ihan perus hotelli, huoneen ilmastointi pitää todella kovaa meteliä, junaradalta ja autotieltä kuuluu meteliä huoneeseen. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, maksullinen aamiainen aika olematon jollei pidä paikallisesta ruuasta. Hienot näköalat, hotellin edessä oleva ranta likainen, mutta uimassa voi pulahtaa jos tarve. Kolmen makuuhuoneen huoneisto täytti matkamme vaatimukset, hyvälle rannalle matkaa n.5,5km, hoituu tuktukilla. Kiva reissu!

Short stay between tours

We stopped over in Colombo before a cycling tour for two nights. The staff are extra friendly and helpful and the included breakfasts were great. It is in a handy location for tuktuk tours but not a great deal to do nearby. It is opposite a railway line which is noisy during the day but ok at nigh. Access to the beach is over the two railway lines so you need to be careful. The beach has a lot of litter and is not recommended. Our room was small and clean but the AC was too noisy. The shower flooded the bathroom floor as the bath had no lip and even if the curtain was placed correctly water still ran off the rimless bath edge. Nice pool with a friendly attendant. Lack of tourist info as it seems to cater mainly to locals? Overall though a value for money hotel if you are not worried about being in the centre of town or in an upmarket hotel/resort

Good value for money

Great and friendly staff. Good pool indoor and good breakfast too. The furniture is a little bit old and bed linen was stained. The location isn't a problem and you can take a taxi or Uber for a ride: definitely is a cheap way to move around.

Excuse any typos please. This property is located across the steet from the Sea with excellent customer service by all of the staff. I will definitely stay at Global Towers upon my return. But I would be remiss of I did not tell you that you have ro lower your expectations as it relates to the rooms itself. I stayed in a Corner Suite... it was really outdated and the amenities provided were similar to an Inn in the U.S. No luscious towels, face towels must be requested, and upon check-in, room was not really cleaned well. Although the bed in my oplnion was comfortanle, it did not seem like the sheets were even 100 thread count. But even with that said, the staff is willing to quickly corrext any issue that you may have. I am missing them already. The Bar Chillax fits its name. If you are on a budget, this is an EXCELLENT choice for a hotel. If you have unlimited amount of funds my suggestion is to only choose one of the 5 star hotels because this probably will still be like a 4 Star Hotel. If I rated this hotel on condition of the hotel and room, I would give it a 2.5 Stars. If I rated it on location and cuztomer service, I would give it a 5 Star. It is not in the mix of everything but easy to get to the central location. Lastly, If you are facing the Sea, you will definitely hear the train all night. Enjoy yourself in Sri Lanka!!!
