「The address was a bit confusing for the taxi drivers; they should mention that it is within the “Villas de Cantabria” gated area. You’ll have to call to be let in through the gate upon first arrival. Other than that, great place. It’s close to a train station and a supermarket.」

「One of the most beautiful and unique stays I have had through VRBO. Chimene was a wonderful host, with excellent communication and recommendations. It was incredible to see so much wildlife from the deck, while watching ships pass on the canal. Check out Treehouse Pizza in Gamboa for delicious pizza and sticky buns.」

「Booked and when I arrived they told me place is under construction. I have two kids with me so trying to find something else last minute for a night is not ideal. TAKE IT OFF IF IT IS NOT READY TO BE STAYED IN !!!!!!」

「This place is special. The inside of the house could use a deep cleaning. But the outdoor area and beach area are incredible. We explored tide pools and snorkeled open areas and crevices all week long. Our one negative experience was fishing with some young men from the nearby town; they did not have fishing gear, made us pay for their oil and gas, made fun of us in Spanish, and didn't actually care about catching fish. We didn't catch any fish and did not feel safe. Rodrigo is a wonderful host...

「Rachel (the property owner) is the BEST! The car I rented couldn’t get up the steep driveway and she was there immediately to offer help. The views from the house are spectacular. We spent most of our time outside because there is a nice breeze off the ocean. I can hear howler monkeys. 」
