「Very safe feeling neighborhood. No problem walking around at night. The hotel complex is also safe and comfortable. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, especially the manager Jesus. Pool was clean and refreshing. There are lot flowers and plants which blow a lot leaves and petal in the pool in the windy afternoons. It makes for a lot of laughs trying to keep them out. 「Villa Reef was absolutely amazing. They definitely care about their guests and it shows in all the touches in the villa. There is everything you could think of in the kitchen, the rooms were lovely but best of all was the location and view. We could snorkel, paddle board and kayak right off the dock. Amir, the concierge was amazing at helping out with whatever questions we had and arranged the 15 minute water taxis to and from town. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone....

「The place is magical, right on the water, with a beautiful coral reef teeming with fish below for snorkeling. There's a small kayak for you to use; I used it to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. My wife loved this place. It's quiet, with a very peaceful vibe. It's about a 15-minute boat ride to get there. The owner, Philip, was very attentive and kind. This place definitely has a beautiful vibe; highly recommended.」

「We stayed in the two bedroom top unit. The space was absolutely perfect. The decor and furnishings were lovely. The view was exquisite and the location perfect. The shared pool area was a beautiful space to start, end or just enjoy the day. The surf break in front is entertaining to watch and/or enjoy. 「Splendid "oasis" beyond Bocas D-T. Host Steve was ever helpful. Very grateful for excellent AC & purified water literally on-tap. We have 270-deg seaviews at home, so enjoyed the shady palms and semi-jungle setting as a welcome change. Inside & outside space was enormous - for only 2 people. Word of warning - parts of the mapped "Carnero Trail" are impassable, particularly after heavy rain, so we were more reliant on water taxis around Carenero than we expected. OVERALL AN EXCELLENT 7 DAYS!」
