Check in was quick. Staff are great. When we go to Colorado Springs we always stay at the Satellite. We had a free breakfast on Sunday and the restaurant people were very nice. Landscape in front and outside by the pool area looks great. We will be back.

The hotel was nice but they had no tea!! Without the Boston Tea Party! The other problem was the air conditioning had failed. We were notified ahead of time but decided to stay anyway since we would only be there in the evenings and I was given a discount on my price. However we decided to leave Colorado Springs to head north instead if staying an extra day.

I stayed for 2 days and the young man at the front desk Ethan was so kind and helpful. The pool was the most amazing. I had an issue with my toilet the first night but the next day it was handled. The big issue for me was that there was no AC or fan we controlled in our room. Our second night was unbearable it felt like the heat was on. But our thermostat was off.

I adore this one of a kind place. 76 hotel rooms paired with 240+ residenyial and a handful oF business condos you can't really go wrong for the price. The only drawback is the location; it's not close to much. Other than that, I can't recommend this place enough for all it's 1960s asthetics

Hotel is a 8C It could very easily be a 9A ( I dont give 10's) if the bar and restaurant got their act together. The POS in the bar needs to be tied into the kitchen. 35 minutes to get an order of catfish nuggets and mac and cheese is bad. (FOOD WAS GREAT) Even worse when you are the only person in the bar. I discussed this with the bar owner. Morfe importantly FIX THE FREKING PARKING LOT. LOOKS LIKE A ROAD IN IRAN AFTER A BOMBING RUN. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

The check-in lady was super nice and helpful. I was there before breakfast service begins on Memorial Day so I went out to breakfast but found Black Bear Restaurant and it's delicious. One out of 3 elevators was broken but didn't affect me. I loved the mid-century vibe and colors. Reasonable rate! Free parking. A little out of downtown area but it was fine.

Loved staying in this kitschy cute hotel. Our 2 room suite was very nice! Loved the wrap-around balcony although weather didn’t allow us to enjoy it. I was a little hesitant about most of the building being condos, but there was no problem. We were disappointed that there was no Sunday breakfast and the satellite sign out front needs some love. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

When I pulled into the parking lot, I wasn't sure I was at a hotel since it looks like an old apartment building. It looked a little 1970s run down. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door. It was very nice with a funky vibe, and it didn't smell like an old hotel. I'm kind of spoiled because I usually stay in 5 stars only hotels. As a 3 star I would stay in this one again. The room was clean and nice. The refrigerator worked great in the room, as did the air conditioner. I didn't use the microwave or the coffee pot, but I was glad they were there in case. The bathroom was clean and neat and fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that smelled like green apple. The staff was really nice and helpful. It's close to restaurants and they do have a nice breakfast buffet on the weekends. I will stay here again as I'm doing some business in Colo. Springs.

I arrived promptly for check in. The place is a mixture of low income housing, retirement community, and dirty. Loitering of homeless, sketchy area. When I went to check in, all AC Units were out, and it was a good 85 degrees in the lobby. I was told they’d cancel my stay and refund my payment by the hotel manager, but would have to contact Expedia as booked through them. After contacting Expedia, I was told hotel manager went back in their word, refusing my refund. Very shady business practices. I had to find last minute accommodations, and now am working with my bank to recover my payment. DO NOTBOOK HERE.

Room was very clean and friendly staff. Rooms for hotel stay are only on 2 floors. Very quiet. Building is used for business suites and residential housing also which is disconcerting at first but no problem. Price for stay is very reasonable. Need to refurbish Satelite Tower at entrance. Makes property seem questionable for hotel stay.
