Perfect weekend getaway

Wonderful stay at the carriage house with my husband and two young children. Great location and beautiful neighborhood with a park and playground close by. We were a short drive to the zoo and children’s museum as well as plenty of restaurants. The carriage house was very spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were very hospitable and made check in and check out super easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely carriage house in Historic Melrose

Enjoyed a 3 night stay here while visiting Columbia for our daughter’s Basic Combat Training at Ft Jackson. Received everything we needed for check in by email, with contact information should there be any problems. There were none. The house was clean; fresh linens, bath towels ready for our use. Bathrooms, kitchen all in good order. Can’t remember if the listing mentioned the powder room downstairs, but it was a nice surprise. Both bedrooms and an additional conversation area, along with a small kitchenette were upstairs. Ample room in both bedrooms with large closets for a 3 night stay. The full bathrooms were also very spacious and clean. The only thing that may cause an issue for some guests is that the bedrooms are at the top of a somewhat steep wooden staircase. (16-17 steps?) Our host was dependable to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay, with instructions for a seamless checkout. Lovely stay
