The Bay House

Relax with the whole family or a group of friends at this peaceful place to stay. Located in Bulls Bay on the Albemarle Sound. Less than 1 hour west of OBX.

Cozy home perfect for your next vacation with amazing views of the bay. Two bedrooms with king size beds and one room with a set of full size mattress bunk beds. Home designed for quality family time in the open concept full kitchen and living area. The large screened in porch allows for greater gathering space to dine out and relax. Fishing pier and water access. Come visit our peaceful retreat and enjoy a painted sky with amazing Eastern NC sunrises and sunsets.

It is a beautiful house and we had a great time. Everything about getting in and taking care of the place was easy and we appreciate it. The layout is stunning and fun for all. I would happily stay again. Additionally, the whole neighborhood is nice and quaint. A fun vibe with character.

Wonderfully relaxing and peaceful. Loved the porch swing and close proximity to the water. It’s a quiet area but that’s what we wanted. Clean & well-appointed, rooms were a bit smaller than we were expecting but they were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was superb: modern and fully stocked. Beautiful Bay House

If you are looking for a peaceful, clean place to relax near Columbia on the Albemarle Sound. then Bay House is your place. Our family of 4 spent 7 nights there and enjoyed it tremendously! We spent a lot of time at OBX so there is some driving involved but we saw a lot of the area, including seeing 3 bears along the way. We did not have any issues with our stay and Janna even helped us arrange some water sports rental since we were not familiar with area!Thanks Janna and Justin!

Amazing family vacation spot!

We had an amazing 6day,5 night stay at the Bay House. What an amazing size for my family of 5 and our friends family of 3. The two bathrooms a huge plus. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. After kids went to bed the porch overlooking the sound was the perfect spot for the adults to hang and play games the rest of the night.

Definitely recommended

Loved the location, and the updated kitchen is a dream. We cooked a lot and we had access to everything we needed. Everything was well kept and clean, and the common areas were extra great for hanging out and relaxing. Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Place is easy to find and has great views over the water. Communication with owners was easy and quick. We'd stay here again for sure.

Perfection

Perfect little getaway for me, my husband, daddy and our fur babies. The Bay House is absolutely one charming little home. The home was immaculate, fully stocked with supplies and the view was incredible. Fishing was good, caught a good variety from the pier. Coffee early in the am, on the screened porch and watching dolphins swimming was no doubt the best! Definitely will be going back, soon.
