“I reserved 2 rooms expecting them to be together. Front desk staff said I reserved hearing impaired rooms which are only 1 room on each floor. I did not reserve hearing impaired. Staff said they could not move our rooms as they were completely booked. Heated pool was not functioning correctly, exercise room was closed, no coffee pot in one of the rooms. Extremely disappointed.”

“Very beautiful historic tavern. The rooms are on the second and third floor so after you check in the staff will shoe you to the room. It can be a bit confusing navigating the building but it is full of historic architecture and portraits of presidents that had visited before. We booked the smallest room which was very cozy and had a gorgeous view of the courtyard. The staff had laid out on a table some water bottles, coffee pods, and two cookies. There was no fridge or microwave in the smallest……

“The house was listed for 8 adults. Our group had 5 sibling adults. There were 3 beds in 3 bedrooms, so 3 couples would have been comfortable. The other two adult spots were for an inflatable mattress. That arrangement was not comfortable for us, so we got a hotel room for two of the adults for the remaining nights. The kitchen and common areas were nicely arranged, and we had several shared meals. The location was convenient. Salem is a friendly and clean town, and we enjoyed our stay. The host……
