“We came here for the peace and quiet of country living and we were not disappointed. It was nice to hear the birds singing in the mornings, sit outside and relax on the deck, and go for a nice walk. The house is very nice and fit our needs. The host and hostess are very nice people. Looking for a place to get away from the noise of the city and hear the faint sound of a rooster crow at a distant farm you won’t be disappointed. Can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our stay. “We had a wonderful time. The cottage was a perfect secluded spot. It was great to see all of the animals and loved our first impression as we drove in the front gate and the beautiful bluebonnets streached out in front of us. It was warem and welcoming! Thank you for having a clean and well equipped cabin. We were gretted Tabby on Friday evening an Saturday morning had to chase off a coyote after him and a orange cat. Glad they are ok.”

“This is such a cute little place to escape the city. The home is nestled out in the country, amongst cows and trees. We stayed here for a weekend while visiting the Round Top winter antique show. The residence is well stocked with most everything you might need. The host is quick to respond to communication. I had a minor issue during my stay (my fault, not theirs), and he was quick to the rescue. My dog enjoyed running around the property, and we were able to go on a lovely walk. I would……

“The pictures do not do this property justice. Aside from the inside of the home being super clean with plenty of room for 3 middle aged women, the property and neighborhood are very beautiful. It is just a short drive from the city and you feel like you are in a completely different world. Very quite and relaxing. Owner was very responsive when we could not figure out the thermostat. Be sure to have breakfast at the little country store down the street. You won't regret it!!”

Spacious rooms, including bedrooms, where a family or friends can spread out for privacy or gather for meals, games, and conversation.
