“We came here for the peace and quiet of country living and we were not disappointed. It was nice to hear the birds singing in the mornings, sit outside and relax on the deck, and go for a nice walk. The house is very nice and fit our needs. The host and hostess are very nice people. Looking for a place to get away from the noise of the city and hear the faint sound of a rooster crow at a distant farm you won’t be disappointed. Can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our stay. “We only stayed one night, but would have been great to relax in this cabin for the whole weekend. Beautiful spot a short walk to the river. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Becky is a great host!”

“Myself and my family stayed here for 2 months and it was a very positive experience. The host was communicative and cooperative and the building and area was extremely safe. There was a lot of nearby shops and restaurants, some were even walking distance, which is unusual for Texas in general. A couple of things that could have been better was the amount of supplies in the unit compared to how long we stayed there (bathroom and dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper etc), and also the quiet……

“Checkin process was to the minute not a second before. Some what stressful in my opinion. The code was not released in a timely manner in my opinion. Everything else was very accommodating and the property was very pretty.”

“This adorable farmhouse exceeded our expectations. A visual treat inside and out. We enjoyed a quiet respite with coffee on the porch overlooking rolling green fields where a few cows willing posed for us. Then, only an easy 30 minute drive to the Antique shows we satisfied our antiquing urges. Our host provided a very enjoyable stay providing very comfortable accommodations to enjoy. Don’t pass this one up!”

“The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The only issue we had was breakfast. There were a few breakfast items but the coffe was empty and no hit water for tea. We were there a little after 7 but there was no one there. We ended up going to McDonald’s across the street.”
