"Ok I will be completely honest, do not I repeat do not look at the picture's. Take the pictures and add about 15 years worth of age on top of it. First and foremost the setup of the resort is very confusing. There is two separate buildings far apart from each other and there is no telling what building you are in until you check in. And in the second building there is no staff to help you so if you need help you have to go way down the road to get it. Secondly what’s presented in the pictures is just not the case anymore. The building is old and worn down and needs maintenance badly. As far as the rooms, we had the two bedroom suite in the second building. parking was good and ample. The room was clean and had everything you need. The beds were horrible and need to be replaced the glass doors did not lock so if you have little kids I had to constantly make sure mine weren’t on the balcony by themselves because the doors wouldn’t lock. The location was good but it took them a while to find my Expedia reservation and at first was trying to get me to repay it and cancel on Expedia. All in all I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 my family enjoyed themselves sleep was rough but hey what can I expect for spring break. If money is tight this will be ample but if it’s not I would look at better alternatives. "

"The room was not very clean. There was a booger on the curtain and next to the bed. Conditioner bottle was empty. Bathroom and shower was extremely small. Ice machine on our floor was out of service during our entire 5night stay. The “water park” and indoor pool featured in the pictures are at a differs location that requires a 5-10min walk or free shuttle. Very disappointed!"

"It could have been the poorest breakfast offering we've ever seen. Also, our trash was over-flowing after three days and "we have NO housekeeping". So....."

"We stayed for one night as we toured UNCW. It was very disappointing that there was a fee to park. We found that pretty outrageous, especially for Wilmington. We didn’t find the lady who checked us in to be very warm. The air was set to 68 and it was still extremely hot while we slept. There was a greasy handprint on the refrigerator door. Overall was just not impressed. We will not be staying there again. Also, I never leave negative reviews, so I hate to be leaving this one, but was pretty disappointed and felt the need to share. "

"First let me say the staff was GREAT VERY HELPFUL COURTEOUS THEY GET A A+ The hotel itself can definitely use some upgrades, the breakfast is horrible no fresh fruit, coffee not great the standard waffle that you make yourself no toppings other than syrup. Eggs looked to be powdered eggs although I am pescatarian and don’t eat sausage others traveled with me did and it appeared not done was not browned…only pork option. I did have an issue. The last two nights one was a noise complaint of two individuals fighting in their room and in the hallway, although others walked by, as if they were scared they never stopped at the front desk to complain. I did otherwise and calm down the front desk took care of it right away as I said the staff was great. The next issue was that evening I walked out of my room to a man slumped down on the floor sleep startled me. I don’t know if he even belonged at the hotel the front desk also took care of that issue right away as I had to teenage girls. My daughters with me and I would have hated for them to come back to the room and this man to be sitting outside of my room on the side. The pool can use some updating also as a suggestion to put a couch inside of the rooms rather than the little round table with two chairs for seating as the rooms are big enough for a little love seat . The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. I was able to try to use it as a white noise to fall asleep too, though."
