Great family spot

We loved our stay here very much. The room set up was perfect. Our kids loved the pool and we were only about 15 minutes away from Garner State Park. We would love to stay here again.

Dad’s 50th Birthday Getaway!

We were impressed with the house and how much space we had to enjoy ourselves! We celebrated by going down to the Frio River and return for some fun in the pool and a bbq. Definitely will recommend this place!

Great house, great location!

This house is nice and big with a great layout. The casita provides extra privacy for guests who may want it. Plenty of dishes for cooking and eating. The pool was a fantastic temperature even at the end of July and great for cooling off. Lots of shade and fans on the patio. Wi-Fi works great in main house, pretty spotty in Casita. 1 Tv in the main house and 1 in the casita. 10 minutes from Garner, 45 minutes from Chalk Bluff. Staff at check in and out were friendly. Will definitely stay again!

River trip

The property was very nice. It was hard to keep the floors clean. Could use some other form to sweep up the dirt that gets tracked in the house. Tile and the broom/dust pan could not keep up with the traffic. There are plenty of dishes so do not bring anything with you other than spices. The wildlife around the property is great. Pool is perfect. No need to bring any chairs with you as the supply there is more than enough. Couches need their cushions replaced but is manageable. Overall excellent stay.

Loved it! Plenty of space. Toilet in main area was not working the handle was broken when we arrive. And the futon in casita was not usable other than that everything else was great! Kids loved the pool. Outdoor restroom is needed! Beds were comfy. Spacious kitchen with all the things you need! Loved the 2 fridges. Totally recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The main guest bathroom had a broken toilet seat. I was told by a staff representative that maintenance would be on site in the morning to fix it, but they never showed up during our stay. Also, one of the bedrooms' light switches was broken, and we had to manually screw the light bulb on and off to use it.We were also disappointed that the home was not river accessible and not within a 3 minute wallk as suggested in the VRBO app. It was a 10-minute drive to river access at minimum.

Deer watching was bonus! The entire place flows all together. Volleyball and horseshoes was a blast! I have stayed at several other places but this by far was the best. Would highly recommend it for a large get together. The only thing I have to say I would change would be there is no mop or broom and with little ones you always have a mess. Went through a lot of paper towels :)
