Frio Acres Cabin # 1

A cozy cabin near the Frio River with the perfect night sky for star-gazing. This 2 bdrm/2 bath cabin sleeps a maximum of 12 guests, and is situated on its own one-acre lot with lots of trees to offer you privacy during your stay. Each bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 set of twin bunk beds. Full bathrooms are attached to both rooms. Stackable washer and dryer is in the bathroom off the living area/2nd bedroom. Futons are in the living room to accommodate 2 more guests. This is perfect for a getaway to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

My kids & I were very pleased with our stay at Frio Acres. Our cabin was very clean, stocked with basic kitchen needs & a spacious outdoor space. We enjoyed being close to everything but felt secluded. We will be back!

River access not accessible from property

Good clean place the only issue was it stated that we had access to river with only a 1 minute walk from the property but there was no access we had to drive about a mile down the way and pay for access to river. The specifications need to be updated so there is no confusion when something is expected but then we don’t have what is stated at booking.

rustic no frills cabin. dark skies for star gazing. river access across road had enough water for swimming. 10 minute drive to garner state park. Ken and Kay promptly responded to all questions and concerns.

Great stay

This was a really great place to stay. Took my family that consists of 3 children under 3 and we all really enjoyed our stay. The private access to the river was more than enjoyable and the peacefulness of the camp site was refreshing.
