Welcome to our happy place and our private paradise! This is the home we live in and we are happy to share it with you! You will enjoy a 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom house with a huge new master suite with en suite and another smaller master suite with en suite on the main level with basement bedroom with en suite. You will also enjoy 2 additional bedrooms on the main floor that share an updated bathroom. There is also a half bathroom off of the living room for guests.
In the mornings, during the day or really anytime during your visit, enjoy the bright and sunny open southern exposure that looks down the valley to see the stunning Pikes Peak 14,115ft mountain. Your Private Paradise sits at 8,700 feet making it cool in the summer and sunny in the winter. If privacy is your thing, you might enjoy hearing the sound of nature from the hot tub with an impressive Pikes Peak view which is nestled near a flower garden on the gently sloping 2 acres of land. If quiet is something you are after, bring your coffee mug and sit on the 900 square foot deck that wraps from the master wing to the dining room and soak in the mountain views. The deck has a large grill that is hooked to natural gas and a Trager Ironwood XL. The outside of the house has stunning massive rough sawn beams that coordinate with the vertical barn wood and rusted corrugated metal siding. Large windows bring the outside in, as well as the 12 foot sliding glass doors that open the dining, kitchen and living room to the deck.
The Master Suite wing has been designed with in floor heating that includes an office, a beautiful bathroom with a raised deep soaker tub with a beautiful view of Pikes Peak. You will enjoy a custom designed large glass shower with dual showerheads and another amazing view of Pikes Peak. The Master Suite wing has an oversized double vanity, separate bidet toilet room and a walk in closet with LG washer and dryer.
You will love the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and living room. Since this is our primary home you will appreciate the kitchen and how well stocked it is for cooking and entertaining (full spice racks, sharp knives, great pans, etc.). The 10 foot island is a luxurious place for food prep and entertaining while basking in the beautiful view of the meadows, mountains and the impressive Pikes Peak 35 miles away. We are far enough away from town where there is no highway noise and yet close enough to first class mountain biking, river kayaking, paddle boarding, whitewater rafting, hiking, adventure ropes course, rock climbing, trail running, snowmobiling, snow skiing, small town shopping and city life. High speed Star-link internet about average of 250 mbs speed.
Property has a ring doorbell security monitor and a dummy by the garage and an additional at front door that is turned off for your stay.. No cameras are in the home or showing the hot tub.
