“We stayed here for 2 nights for my 50th birthday. Jane was fantastic, decorating the cabin after a (very!) last minute request from my other half, and was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cabin is beautiful and surprisingly spacious, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The views from the terrace and hot tub are beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to friends, we will definitely be back! Thank you x”

“It was great. Stayed while passing through, so we were only there one night. Close to food. I can’t remember what we did nearby, but it seemed like a nice place to stay for a couple of days. We were heading from Scotland to London though, so no time for a stop. Only thing we found was that there was no oven. Slightly inconvenient since we bought pizzas to cook. Just saved them for the next place. Oh, we did go to the beach by the castle. That was nice. It was late, so the castle was closed, but……

“Nice, clean rooms in a beautiful old villa. Quiet location and close to Newcastle city center or shopping, just a few minutes by car. Very friendly hosts and staff, award winning restaurant on site and a nice garden - if the weather permits it. We enjoyed staying there and can recommend this hotel. ”

“I’ll keep this as a factual review rather than allowing emotional comments. The communication from the property management team was good, with clear guidance on entry, location etc. That’s where it starts to go wrong. Poorly maintained inside the building with stains all over the floor. 1 x double bed and 2 x single was the description. A double bed was present very very uncomfortable with hardly any mattress comfort, it was like sleep on a wooden block. The 2 x single beds was a……

“We had issue with our original property. However, it was esybto communicate with the staff and they promptly moved us to a different property which is even much more better than the previous. Staff were courteous and responded to our needs promptly. Its been less than a few days we moved out. Hence, i am awaiting a refund of the deposit paid. Otherwise, i appreciate the service provided.”

“We were visiting Ushaw House and this cottage is perfect location for there, Durham and surround area. Great shower, comfy bed. Easy parking outside your door. Lovely village and great pub. The Bay Horse. Thanks to John the owner for the recommendation ”

“Very basic, not the cleanest, piles of rubbish outside entrance. Ended up leaving. Asked for refund still waiting for reply off duty manager. Stains and burns on carpet. ”

We were in apartment 4 on the second floor, no views but we knew that when we booked, right on the seafront. If we are that way again would definitely stay again.”
