“We really enjoyed the location and the home. Quite the setting! Our only small complaint was the ice maker was not functional. Some advance notice would have been helpful so we could have brought a bag from the store.”

“I go to the coast a lot and this has to be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. The view is perfect, the apartment is clean, comfortable and has just about everything you’ll need (the beds might be too comfortable tbh). And the owner/manager seems incredibly easy to get a hold of (never needed to though). The apartment is split-level with bedrooms on one floor and the living on another and the short stairs have some funky angles that could prove a little challenging if you…let’s say,……

My children and dog absolutely loved the creek and being able to enjoy the forest while us adults enjoyed the break from technology and being able to slow down a bit. Can’t wait to return!”

“Another great stay at this location! Third year here and it delivers everything we need every time. Wonderful layout if you want to be with the group or slip away on your own for a while. Fire pit is always a nighttime favorite spot to gather and retell the activities of the day. Always room for everyone to take in a meal together and big improvements to what already a great kitchen. TVs conveniently located through out and game room and card table to enjoy some leisure competition. Recommend……

“Our stay was very nice. The guest house was sparkling clean and well outfitted. The neighbourhood was quiet and private. There is much to do in the area as it’s very close to beaches and many trails.”

“Our last night revealed a beautiful shot for a full moon over the bridge. This condo is close to the bridge but the traffic noise does not interfere with rest and comfortable days. We never tired of watching river traffic, ever-changing clouds and beautiful sunsets. The condo is perfectly located for easy strolls to Old Town or a nice walk to the Exploring Whale park.”

It’s our second stay and with the first stay, I was able to meet the owner and get a tour and history of the house prior to staying there. Love everything about it. “The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It is an older home with some updates but it is very nice. Loved sitting in the front room and watching the waves. Did have trouble with the tv but was finally able to get it to work.”

“Have come to this property several times and have enjoyed it consistently. It's comfortable with a very nice view over the hills. Note that there is only one shower and it is downstairs, where there are no bedrooms. The bathtub in the primary BR seems nice, but have never used it. There is no shower in that bathroom.”

“Pleasantly surprised. Worth the extra $20-30 to not stay in one of the shady spots nearby. Right next to 2 grocery stores and restaurants. No breakfast but clean and great shower! ”
