「This was our first time staying at this resort, and I must say we were not disappointed. Having stayed at various lodges around the country, this one ranks among the top for its stunning scenery. We arrived for a Monday to Friday break and were warmly greeted by a staff member who provided clear and helpful information. 「Grizedale lodge perfect views. A little tired on flooring, door frames and windows but overall good. Sofas quite low but beds comfy and well equipped kitchen. Nice little welcome pack and treats for dogs. Enjoyable stay.」

「Fab little lodge with sauna in bathroom and spacious hot tub .Only thing I’d add would be a privacy screen around hot tub . Once you’re in hot tub you can’t see another lodges but getting in feels a little exposed ! Everything is is pretty perfect and it was immaculately clean !! Very comfortable furniture and beds .Has dishwasher,ironing board and iron and hairdryer.Says dvd player on info but there isn’t one and no hdmi sockets on tv but that was no big deal .」

There was plenty of firewood and dishwasher tablets to last our entire stay, although there were no means provided to light the fire. Our only disappointment was the hot tub, which is positioned behind an extremely high fence that obstructs the view we had specifically booked for.
