“Much faded since my previous stay about 8 years ago. Id asked for a twin room but was given a double bed. The duvet however, was edge to edge so didn't cover 2 people adequately. The cooked breakfast sausage, mushrooms, hash browns were deep fried. Mushrooms looked like sheep droppings, tiny and black. Evening meal on Friday was better.”

“Room was very large & clean. However, the double bed was 2 singles pushed together. Additionally , there was a wheel missing from one corner, which made the bed lopsided, with the mattress overhanging the side. Not at all conducive to a great nights sleep! As the reception is unmanned most of the day we couldn’t even report it! Check in experience left much to be desired. The member of staff who checked us in was also working as a bar tender. “The room was on the second floor so carrying luggage up from the ground floor was a struggle. Room was small and we struggled to find a place to open our case . The bathroom was very small. Grout and seal around shower needed refreshed . TV in the room was also very compact . There was dust in places but generally it was very clean. We liked the pretty visitors’ lounge with honesty bar. Breakfast was delicious, good variety; served promptly and in a friendly manner . The location was……
