Der See ist auch zum Baden geeignet, zumindest wenn man bereit ist, die kalte Wassertemperatur hinzunehmen. (Im gut erreichbaren, sehr schönen Ort Keswick gibt es diverse Outdoor-Geschäfte, wo man preisgünstig Neoprenanzüge kaufen kann.) Wenn einem der See zu kalt ist, kann man alternativ den Lodge-eigenen Whirlpool nutzen. Die gesamte Ferienanlage ist unglaublich...

「Lodge & location is perfect, whether you want to relax or go sightseeing. The lodge was perfect & had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Even though the weather wasn't brilliant, we didn't let that spoil our holiday! The scenery is absolutely stunning!We had a boat trip on lake windermere & enjoyed the Beatrix Potter Attraction.Would highly recommend a visit here!」

「Large rooms on single level and a modern cabin were a welcome change from tiny cottages. The uncleaned toilet was the only negative. The trailer park was in a beautiful setting and excellent location. The facilities were good, but, the restaurant was poor.」

"The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered scrambling egg with smoked salmon toast, they said no more but I saw other customers have it, I thought smoked salmon and egg are very common foods in a hotel restaurant, I wondered why they can tell me no more stocks. I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced. Staffs are not really friendly. "
